A Spiritual person understands that it is through understanding yourself, that you then understand everything else around you. Everything is a reflection of you. There was a moment in time where we didn't have technology, and it was through solitude, attention, and awareness that we understood the world around us.
The basis of life stands upon Four Emanations. Those emanations being: Emanation, Creation, Formation, and Action. How we can put these into context would be through the process of Conception, Pregnancy, and Child Birth.
Emanation would be the point at which the sperm unites with the egg - there is a burst of energy, that initial spark. Creation would be the analysis of the particles dispersed from the initial spark. Formation would be the baby starting to take form, gender, the organs taking place. Finally, Action would be the process of child birth, the baby reaching the material world.
This process is what scientists would call the Big Bang Theory.
The purpose of scientists is to study nature and humanity in order to understand the world - so why is it the scientists that we look to for our understanding? Before there was technology, there was nature and connection to self. Now, we look to Google for answers, instead of looking inwardly for the answers that are already there. It is through distraction that we are unaware of the world around us, therefore disconnected from ourselves. We now look to others for the answers that we already know, while they look to us.
